Optimised chassis and new tyres

The new tractors feature a frame optimised for specific applications. The 2.95 m wheelbase combines excellent manoeuvrability with impressive stability in the field and during transport, while also increasing traction and reducing the need for front ballast when lifting heavy rear-mounted implements.

The new front axle contributes to an exceptionally tight turning radius of 5.3 m.

Massey Ferguson and BKT have worked together to develop completely new 2.0 m-diameter rear tyres from the BKT AGRIMAX V-FLECTO range – a tyre model that has already received DLG approval for certain tested sizes.

Specifically developed for the new tractor models, the two new VF 650/70 R42 and VF 710/60 R44 rear tyre sizes are combined with VF 600/65 R30 front tyres. They provide an optimum combination of operating efficiency, traction, large contact area and minimum soil compaction for tractors in this power and weight class.

All-new engine

All six models use the latest Core engine – the new, multi-award-winning engine family developed by AGCO Power.

In this new tractor series, the engine is a 6-cylinder unit with a 7.5-litre displacement and a single turbocharger. It has 25% fewer components compared with previous generations, reducing mechanical complexity and contributing to even greater long-term reliability.

The engine complies with Stage V emissions standards without the need for an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system.

Maximum power is available across a wide engine speed range, while the torque curve remains flat between 800 and 1,500 rpm across all six new models.

The high-efficiency power and torque characteristics of the new engines ensure maximum performance without the need for EPM.

Early field tests indicate higher fuel efficiency compared with previous-generation engines as well as key competitors in this market segment. Full HVO compatibility also enables a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

To maximise field uptime, the new tractors are equipped with a large 410-litre fuel tank (+25% compared with the MF 7S) and a 56.5-litre AdBlue tank (+88% compared with the MF 7S).

An optional reversible fan is also available to keep the cooling packs clean and reduce the time required to clean the grille.

Two air compressor options are available. The standard single compressor on pneumatic braking systems provides an airflow of up to 310 l/min at 2,100 engine rpm.

For operation with CTIS systems and the most demanding air-powered machines, the new high-performance twin-piston compressor provides an airflow of up to 800 l/min at 2,100 rpm.

Proven Dyna-VT transmission

All MF 7S MARK 2 models are equipped with Massey Ferguson’s highly versatile Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission.

Continuously variable speed adjustment is available across two ranges. New features include a standard ParkLock system and emergency braking, as well as the ability to reach a maximum speed of 57 km/h, depending on the specific market.

The four-speed PTO offered with the Dyna-VT transmission provides compatibility with a wider range of implements.

A high-capacity hydraulic system is fitted as standard, with multiple closed-centre and Load-Sensing pump options providing maximum hydraulic oil flow rates of 110, 150 or up to 190 l/min.

Efficient tractors can be equipped with up to four hydraulic valves – four mechanical valves or, in a Massey Ferguson-exclusive configuration, a combination package of mechanical and electrohydraulic valves with pressure-release levers for easy connection.

Tractors with Exclusive specification can feature up to five electric valves, each providing flow rates of up to 120 l/min, all equipped as standard with pressure-release levers.

Separate transmission and hydraulic oil tanks prevent contamination and allow up to 96 litres of oil to be used for external applications. This ensures that the tractors can easily lift and unload the largest trailers and operate large and complex implements.

The 9.6-tonne rear linkage lift capacity contributes to higher productivity, enabling operation with larger implements.

Up to six front hydraulic valves can be configured, allowing simultaneous operation of a front linkage, two additional valves and a front loader.

The most spacious cab in its class

The MF 7S MARK 2 tractors feature an updated version of the spacious cab that has proven popular since its introduction on the MF 8S series.

Massey Ferguson’s exclusive Protect-U design, in which a 15-cm gap physically separates the cab from the engine, reduces the transmission of noise, vibration and heat to the operator’s workplace.

This solution also allows the sloping windscreen to be completely cleared by the front windscreen wiper – an advantage over key competitors.

Datatronic 6

The new tractors are equipped with an all-new 12-inch Datatronic 6 touchscreen terminal featuring a redesigned user interface for easier machine operation and setup.

The new interface is twice the size of that of the previous generation and offers higher resolution. It is used for machine setup and control, as well as navigation and data management.

Enhanced visualisation capabilities include customisable “tiles” in three different sizes.

Improved working environment

The Visio Roof option uses new 8-mm polycarbonate instead of glass. This eliminates the need for a protective FOPS grille and improves operator visibility.

An 8-mm polycarbonate side window is also available as a new option for activities such as mowing and hedge cutting and can be configured through MF By You.

Operator visibility is further improved by a new side wiper, which covers 72% of the windscreen and enhances visibility around the cab door.

New LED lighting is standard, with four additional upgrade packages available. The highest specification includes a total of 27 LED lights – 8 on the bonnet and 19 on the cab.

Grammer and Isri seats are available.

The new mid-range Isri seat swivels and features automatic air suspension, ventilation, heating, lumbar support, side supports and lateral cushioning.

The top-of-the-range version adds lumbar massage, electric adjustment and settings, as well as memory for three user profiles.

The high-performance heating and ventilation system provides multi-level air distribution through 14 vents.

Category 4 filtration is a new option providing operator protection during activities such as spraying and featuring automatic monitoring of filter service life.

Operators will appreciate the spacious storage compartments in the cab, as well as up to three additional electrical sockets.

A factory-fitted mobile phone holder can be positioned on the armrest or terminal rail. The spacious cab also provides sufficient space for an optional refrigerator.

For additional convenience, a new option enables remote locking and unlocking as well as engine start and stop via a key fob.

New media options include larger-diameter speakers for improved sound quality.

The all-new electromechanical Sound Exciter is also available exclusively for the MF 7S MARK 2, using the windscreen as a powerful bass speaker.

As demand grows for cameras to improve workflow monitoring and increase safety, the new tractors replace analogue cameras with digital front and rear versions offering a 122-degree wide-angle view.

Packages with up to four cameras can be configured, allowing additional cameras to be positioned on the tractor or mounted on trailers and other implements.

The optional Professional package includes an external tool box, a practical inspection lamp, a compressed-air outlet and pneumatic gun, as well as additional options through MF By You.

New PTx FarmENGAGE smart farming ecosystem

The new MF 7S MARK 2 tractors will be the first to be factory-fitted with PTx FarmENGAGE.

The next-generation farm operations management software is compatible with equipment from all brands, enabling convenient wireless data transfer between machines across the entire fleet.

The system also enables precise control and monitoring through the integrated telematics system.

In addition, all data relating to tractors, machines, fields, crops and work tasks can be shared via USB or Cloud thanks to the Connectivity Centre included in PTx FarmENGAGE.

Full range of support services

All models in the new MF 7S MARK 2 series have access to Massey Ferguson’s full technology package, a wide range of options through MF By You and specialised customer services that support farming businesses every day.

These include MF Care, AGCO Finance, AGCO Parts, the MF Always Running replacement fleet service and the online MF How To video guides, which can be viewed anywhere and at any time.
