The sales team of VAREX Ltd. participated in a training on the topic “Newest trends and technologies in precision agriculture”
The leader of the training was the regional representative of AGCO FUSE – Janos Horvath. The topic of the training was the maximum use of the functionality of precision farming equipment, which MASSEY FERGUSON tractors offer. Using the features of TRIMBLE and NOVATEL navigation systems give many possibilities for farmers to choose different packages and functionalities:
- basic package with automatic guidance and free signal
- practical package for precision farming with signal up to 2.5 cm and sectional control
- advanced precision farming package with section control, control of variable rate, task mapping and transfer
The training was held in the Plovdiv area, using a tractor MASSEY FERGUSON MF8S.245 DYNA-7 EXCLUSIVE, Equipped with satellite receiver TRIMBLE navigation with unlocked signal up to 2.5cm accuracy. A fertilizer simulator was used to demonstrate the possibility of
the VRC – “Variable Rate Control” function used in the precision farming for fertilization and spraying.
